The Urban Tree Alliance is a Finalist for the Global Stewards Sustainability Prize!

 This competition hosted by the Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment (Sage) at UW-Madison challenges entrants to develop innovative solutions to environmental sustainability. The Urban Tree Alliance in collaboration with with the Forest Ecosystem Remote Sensing Team (FERST) in the Forest and Wildlife Ecology Department at UW-Madison developed a proposal that uses advanced geospatial analysis techniques to plan for urban forest growth in the Madison area. We’ll be exhibiting our ideas at the Nelson Earth Day Conference at Monona Terrace on April 16th, where the winners will be announced. Hope to see you there!
